The first film released under the Salted Slug Studio banner, this was a film I wrote, directed, animated and edited in a 6 week period from Dec - Jan 2025. A behind the scenes interview with Dr. Esonyi Lumbumba, on the set of "In the Shade of the Acacia". A short character piece about the challenges of crafts-people in film under pressure from budgets, studios and executives. It asks the question, how can these skills survive?

This was animated in Procreate, assembled in After Effects and final editing in Premiere.
